| This WebQuest
represents a multi-task curriculum unit that utilizes technology by encouraging the student to explore web sites regarding the rock
cycle and then incorporates an organizational software program (Inspiration)
to complete a concept map. This map is then used as a pre-writing web to
create a narrative using a word processing program (Microsoft Word) describing the processes associated with the rock
cycle. An assessment is included at the end for students to complete in
order to determine the degree of understanding. Full use of the WebQuest
requires Microsoft Word and Inspiration 6.0 or higher. |
